📍 Feature Overview

The CoinUp.io App has introduced a new “Account Security Level” visualization module.
The system automatically evaluates and displays your security level (Low / Medium / Medium-High / High) based on your account’s security bindings, such as email, phone number, Google Authenticator, and fund password.
You can view your current security level and improvement suggestions by navigating to [User Center] → [Security Settings].

🔐 How to Improve Your Security Level

Go to [User Center] → [Security Settings], and complete the following bindings to increase your security score:
1️⃣ Bind your phone number
2️⃣ Bind your email address
3️⃣ Enable Google Authenticator (2FA)
4️⃣ Set a fund password

The system will update your security level in real time and display any remaining uncompleted security items.

⚠️ Why Is Security Level Important?

• Enhances account protection and reduces the risk of unauthorized access

• Provides additional verification for sensitive actions (e.g., withdrawals, password changes)

• Certain high-risk operations may require reaching a specific security level

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: My security level didn’t change after completing verification.
Please try logging out and back into the app, or refresh the page. The system will automatically update your score.

Q2: Will my security level decrease if I unbind my email or phone number?
Yes. Unbinding any security verification method will cause the system to recalculate and lower your security score.

Q3: Does my security level affect withdrawals?
Yes. Accounts with lower security levels (1/4 or 2/4) may face partial restrictions on withdrawals or transfers.
For your asset safety, we recommend completing all verifications as soon as possible.

How to Enable Google Authenticator for My CoinUp.io Account?

Step 1: Access User Center

1. Click the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner.

2. Select [User Center].

3. Go to [Security Settings], and click [Unbound] under Google Authenticator.

Step 2: Enable Google Authenticator

1. Open the Google Authenticator app, tap on the "+" icon and select Scan a QR code or Enter a setup key.

2. Scan the QR code or copy or add the setup key displayed in the app.

3. Tap [Binding] to complete the action.

Important: Save the backup key securely. This is essential for recovery if you lose access to your device.

Step 3: Enter Security Verification

• Enter your login password.

• Open Google Authenticator and enter the six-digit verification code generated automatically.

• Click [Confirm].

1. On the Account  page, you tap [Binding] on Google Authenticator

Step 2: Enable Google Authenticator

1. Open the Google Authenticator app, tap the “+” icon.

2. Scan the QR code displayed on the CoinUp.io app, or manually enter the setup key.

3. Enter the 6-digit code generated by Google Authenticator.

4. Tap 【Binding】 to complete the setup.

Use the backup key to restore access.
