CoinUp APP Asset Transfer Guide

The Asset Transfer feature allows you to quickly move funds between different accounts within the CoinUp platform without any blockchain transaction fees. Transfers are typically completed instantly.


1. What is Asset Transfer?

Asset Transfer allows you to move assets between your different CoinUp accounts, such as:

  • Finance Account → Spot Account
  • Spot Account → Futures Account
  • Futures Account → Finance Account

Transfers are processed internally within the platform, requiring no blockchain confirmation and incurring no transfer fees.

 

2. How to Transfer Assets?

Step 1: Go to the Assets Page

Open the CoinUp APP and tap [Asset] in the bottom-right corner of the homepage.

On the Asset Overview page, tap [Transfer].

Step 2: Select Transfer Direction

On the Transfer page:

  • Select the account to transfer from
  • Select the account to transfer to
  • Choose the asset you wish to transfer

Please ensure that the transfer direction is correct.

For example:

  • From Finance Account to Spot Account
  • From Spot Account to Futures Account

Step 3: Enter the Transfer Amount

After selecting the asset:

  • Enter the amount you wish to transfer
  • Or tap [All] to transfer your entire available balance

The system will display your available transferable balance automatically.

Step 4: Confirm the Transfer

Please review the following information carefully:

  • Asset
  • From Account
  • To Account
  • Transfer Amount

Once everything is correct, tap [Confirm].

 

Step 5: Transfer Completed

After the transfer is successfully processed, the assets will be credited to the destination account immediately.

You can return to the Assets page to verify the updated account balance.

 

3. Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is there any fee for asset transfers?

No.

Internal transfers between CoinUp accounts are completely free of charge.

 

2. How long does an asset transfer take?

Transfers are usually completed instantly.

In rare cases, temporary delays may occur due to system maintenance or network issues.

 

3. Why am I unable to transfer assets?

Possible reasons include:

  • Insufficient available balance
  • Assets are temporarily frozen or restricted
  • Margin is being used for open futures positions
  • Assets are locked by pending orders

How to Deposit Cryptocurrency on CoinUp.io?

Step 1: Access the Deposit Section

  1. Launch the CoinUp.io App on your mobile device and log in to your account.

  2. Tap Assets at the bottom of your screen.

  3. Select Deposit Crypto.

Step 2: Select the Cryptocurrency

  1. Use the search bar or scroll through the list to locate the cryptocurrency you wish to deposit.

  2. Tap to select your chosen cryptocurrency.

Step 3: Choose the Correct Network

  1. Review the available blockchain networks for your selected cryptocurrency.

  2. Select the network that corresponds with the one used by your sending wallet.

    Example: If sending USDT via TRON, choose the TRC-20 network.

    ⚠️ Important: Choosing the wrong network may result in permanent loss of funds. Always double-check network compatibility before proceeding.

Step 4: Copy the Deposit Address

  1. A unique wallet address will be generated based on your chosen cryptocurrency and network.

  2. Tap Copy Address or scan the provided QR code.

Note: Before copying the deposit address, please make sure to double-check the [Contract Information] notice and the system’s automatically displayed [Deposit Reminder].

The Deposit Reminder prompts users to verify that the network and address match before making a deposit, preventing asset loss caused by cross-chain transfers or incorrect address entries.

Meanwhile, the deposit page now also displays the token’s Contract Information, allowing users to view the corresponding contract address and transaction records in real time. This enables easy tracking of fund flows and verification of on-chain data, significantly improving the security and transparency of the deposit process.

             

 

Step 5: Initiate the Transfer

  1. Open your external wallet or exchange account where your funds are stored.

  2. Paste the copied address into the destination field or scan the QR code.

  3. Ensure the selected network matches the one you chose on CoinUp. The deposit network must be identical to the sending network.

 

Step 6: Verify the Transaction

  1. Confirm the transfer within your sending wallet.

  2. Wait for the blockchain network to process the confirmation. Processing time may vary depending on the network.

  3. Once the transaction is verified, your funds will appear in the Assets tab within the app.

How to perform Internal Transfer on CoinUp.io

Step 1: Open the Withdrawal Menu

  1. Open the CoinUp App

  2. Go to the Assets page

  3. Tap Withdraw

  1. A pop-up will appear with two options:

    • [1] On-chain Withdrawal

    • [2] Internal Transfer
       

  2. Select Internal Transfer.

👉 The system will default to the withdrawal method you used last time.


Step 2: Select Token

The system will display only the tokens you currently have a balance in.
Each token shows:

  • Available balance

  • Approximate fiat value
    (example: 100 USDT ≈ $13.00)


Step 3: Fill in Transfer Information

You will enter the Internal Transfer page, where UID is selected by default.
You may switch to Phone Number or Email search.

Required fields:

  • Recipient UID / phone number / email

  • Transfer amount

  • Remarks (optional)


Step 4: Confirmation Page 

  1. After tapping Continue, a security verification window will appear at the bottom of the screen.

2. Please enter your Google Authenticator code, SMS verification code, or fund password to proceed.

Step 1: Navigate to Internal Transfer

  1. Log in to CoinUp Web

  2. Go to Assets

  3. Click Spot Account

  4. Select Internal Transfer on the withdrawal page
     


Step 2: Select Token & Enter Transfer Details

  • Choose the token you wish to transfer

  • Enter the recipient’s UID / phone number / email

  • Enter the transfer amount

  • Check your remaining daily limit (displayed in real time)


Internal Transfer Status Explanation

1. Pending
When the internal transfer status shows “Pending”, users can click the “Cancel Transfer” button to withdraw the transfer request.
This is useful for urgent situations, such as large amounts or mistakes in the operation.

2. Completed 
Once the internal transfer status shows “Completed”, it means the funds have been successfully credited to the recipient’s account.
At this point, the transfer cannot be canceled, so please make sure all information is correct before submitting the transfer.


System Validation Rules

To ensure transaction safety, the system will automatically validate the following:

  1. Recipient Information

  • UID / phone number / email must be in valid format

  • You are not allowed to perform transfer to yourself

2. Amount Validation

  • Amount cannot be below the minimum limit

  • Amount cannot exceed your available balance

  • Amount cannot exceed your remaining daily transfer limit (depends on VIP level)

3. Platform Fee

  • CoinUp currently charges 0 fees for all internal transfers


Single Transfer Limit & Review Mechanism

To ensure platform security:

  • The single transfer limit for all tokens is 5,000 USDT equivalent.

  • If transfer amount ≤ 5,000 U
    Instant approval, immediate arrival

  • If transfer amount > 5,000 U
    → The transfer will enter a manual review process
    → Funds will be processed after admin approval
